About The End of Times
A contemporary ballet weaving music, dance, and poetry into a heartfelt journey across the world.
Between destruction and renewal, a dance of memory and light.
The End of Times is a contemporary creation blending dance, live music, and voice in a multidisciplinary performance that explores the idea of ending — and what remains after.
The work unfolds as a ritual of transformation, where bodies, sound, and light move through darkness toward renewal.
Drawing on the themes of memory, collapse, and rebirth, the piece invites the audience into an immersive journey through sound, movement, and image.
The choreography intertwines human fragility with moments of transcendence, while the live score traverses multiple musical styles — from minimalist textures to electronic resonances.
The voice, sometimes whispered, sometimes prophetic, becomes the echo of a shared time coming to its end.
The production travels, carrying its message of memory and rebirth to new audiences — inviting reflection and emotional resonance wherever it arrives.
The End of Times is available for festivals, theatre seasons, and touring presentations.

The world premiere of
The End of Times
Ballet & Original Soundtrack will take place on
January 19, 2026,
at the Theatre of the Italian Cultural Institute, marking the closing event of the celebrations for Gorizia and Nova Gorica as European Capitals of Culture 2025.
This unique performance will feature the participation of musicians from Nova Gorica, Slovenia, Italy, and across Europe and beyond, embodying a spirit of artistic unity that transcends borders.
This project was born as a transnational co-production between the Académie de Musique d’Etterbeek (Belgium), the Šola za glasbo de Nova Gorica – École Publique de Musique et Danse (Slovenia), and a collective of Italian and Belgian artists.
Composed by Antonio Vilardi, the ballet brings together artists from diverse backgrounds in a collective reflection on humanity’s downfall — and its rebirth.
It stands as a powerful reminder of the futility of conflict, not only between nations and states but also among individuals in everyday life — for every act of disrespect toward another can unknowingly ignite much greater divisions.
Join us for this momentous evening that intertwines music, movement, and meaning, affirming once more the role of art as a universal language of peace and renewal.

Preview – The End of Time
A resounding success in Etterbeek
The world preview (avant-prmière) of the excerpt of The End of Time, presented on 10 December at the Etterbeek Municipal Hall as part of the European SPUR project, was met with extraordinary success, exceeding all expectations.
The hall was filled to capacity, with many spectators standing—clear evidence of the strong interest surrounding the new creation by composer and author Antonio Vilardi. The performance—an innovative fusion of music, theatre-dance, light design, and contemporary storytelling—deeply impressed the audience, whose enthusiasm grew steadily throughout the evening.
Particular acclaim was given to actor and co-director Aldo Sicurella, choreographer Menia Martinez, former Étoile of the Bolshoi Theatre, and Finnish choreographer Yara Kupper, true architects of the work’s scenic intensity and emotional dramaturgy.
The evening was further elevated by the outstanding musical interpretation of Arthmony and Mattisix, whose performances brought the scores to life with remarkable sensitivity and expressive power, amplifying every gesture and visual moment on stage.
At the conclusion of the performance, the artists were called back to the stage six times and greeted with more than twenty minutes of uninterrupted applause. This collective ovation confirmed the emotional impact and originality of the work, which opens new perspectives in contemporary scenic creation.
The Municipality of Etterbeek, partner of the SPUR project, expressed great satisfaction with the outcome of the event, recognizing La Fin des Temps as a powerful example of how culture can serve as a tool for social cohesion and collective renewal.
The official premiere of the complete ballet is scheduled for 19 January 2026, with additional premiere dates in Slovenia and an international tour currently in preparation.

Available from December 10, 2025 — the original soundtrack of The End of Times, in CD and on all digital platforms.
